More Than a Museum

The Holocaust Museum of Orange County is not just a museum- it’s a movement. Our mission is to remember, educate, and inspire. We are building a powerful, immersive institution that teaches lessons of the Holocaust on a local and digestible level to combat antisemitism, bigotry, and hate in all forms-locally and globally. Through testimony, technology, and truth, we shape future generations with compassion and moral courage.

Handled With Care. Preserved With Purpose.

Our mission is to educate the next generation about the Holocaust in a way that is personal, meaningful, and lasting.

Through immersive experiences and storytelling, we help students understand the past and their responsibility in the present.

As Time Passes, These Stories Must Remain

As time passes, firsthand witnesses become fewer.

Artifacts remain.

They hold stories that cannot be replaced.

By preserving and sharing these items, we ensure that future generations continue to learn, reflect, and carry these lessons forward.

Reaching the Next Generation

Each year, tens of thousands of students will engage with the museum’s exhibits and programming.
Through these experiences, they will gain not only knowledge, but perspective.
History becomes something they feel — and something they take with them.
